Superheroes Spotted at the 2013 McGala 

Superhero sightings at the Jacksonville Ronald McDonald House occur fairly often. From the super courage of the children fighting illness, to the super strength of the parents of those children to the volunteers and donors with super-sized hearts who help make RMHC Jacksonville possible, we see Superheroes every day!  However, rarely have we seen a gathering of Superheroes like the one we saw on Saturday, May 5th at our annual McGala fundraiser.  More than 500 guests proved that they were ready to be Superheroes for the children and families we serve by supporting RMHC Jacksonville!  We would like to especially thank our sponsors who helped make this specatcular night possible!

Meet Molly

Dear Ronald McDonald House Charities of Jacksonville Staff, Volunteers and Supporters, 

My name is Molly and when I was born I stayed 7 days in a hospital bed.

 My parents were kept safe from harm in a special place where they were led. 

The place they stayed was wonderful. They kept my parents safe and dry.

They were fed each night  by volunteers who greeted them with a warm smile and a “Hi”. 

It was fitting that the first place I got to visit when I left the hospital on that day

was the Ronald McDonald House where my parents and I were able stay. 

Thank you for taking care of my parents and me.  We will never forget you!
